APOPKA, Fla. -- An Orlando area school bus driver is being praised by grateful parents after getting students off his bus moments before it burst into flames Tuesday.Numerous viewers sent CBS Orlando affiliate WKMG-TV cellphone video they took of the burning bus.Doug Alexander was one of them. All of a sudden, ka-boom, there was one explosion and then a few minutes later, another explosion, Alexander s af1 aid.He said he saw the driver running away from the bus just minutes before it exploded. I asked the bus driver, Did everybody get out OK and he said, Yeah, Alexander said. I said, Do you know what happened And he said, Yeah, it started smoking, we smelled smoke. I said, Do you know where it came from He said, The air conditioner.
