The carrier mistakenly sold the first-class return fares for roughly $3,390 mdash; that compares with their usual cost of $13,000 to $20,000, according to Qantas website. Customers who snagged the cheap tickets during the system disruption will still get to travel, but they ll be reassigned to business class, the airline told CBS MoneyWatch. As a gesture of goodwill, we re rebooking customers in Business Class at no additional cost, Qantas said. Customers can also ask for refunds instead, according to the airline.
