They are among the most conservative members of the caucus, angry with the speaker over the passage of the $1.1 trillion spending bill because it didn t cut spending enough, and didn t defund Obamacare or the president s immigration executive actions. Rep. Louis Gohmert, R-Texas, and Rep. Yoho, R-Florida, have stepped forward as alternatives to the Ohio Republican. Reps. Jim Bridenstine, R-Oklahoma, Paul Gosar, R-Arizona, Steve King, R-Iowa, D botella stanley ave Brat, R-Virginia, Marlin Stuztman, R-Ohio, Thomas Massie, R-Kentucky, and Walter Jones, R-North Carolina, round out the nine members who have publicly said they plan to vote against Boehner. While some on t stanley cup he right and many on the left are not happy with the deal, even President Obama and the congressional leaders he negotiated with have said it s not the perfect bill. But there s a possible silver lining in this debacle for the White House and Democrats. Here s why: while it may look to many in stanley cup his party as a raw deal, Mr. Obama succeeded in showing leadership in the end by brokering any deal to solve the crisis, showed he was willing to compromise and take less than he wanted, and showed he was serious about tackling the looming debt crisis facing the country.
