The unidentified man was critically ill and has been in isolation at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital since Sunday, federal health officials said. They would not reveal his nationality or age. Aditi Lahiri, the Indian-origin Professor of Linguistics at the University of Oxford has been HT Image elected Fellow of the British Academy, the national academy for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Lahiri, who researches phonology, phonetics, historical linguistics, psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics, is among eight Oxf salomon ord academics to be elected Fellow of the academy. She received the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize in 2000.
